Set in the foothills of the Virunga Mountains, Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park offers gorilla trekking among dramatic volcanic peaks, dense montane forest and some of East Africa’s most striking landscapes.
Uganda
Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is a lush, ancient rainforest home to almost half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas, with challenging treks through dense forest and steep terrain.
